15TH CENTURY PERSIAN TIMURID ISLAMIC CERAMIC BLUE AND WHITE BOWL [C1] Authentic antique late Timurid 15th century Persian Islamic ceramic Blue and White bowl painted with a design imitating Chinese Blue and White ware of the Ming Dynasty. The painted ornament on the bowl is an exact copy of the pattern which can be found on the Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty Blue and White porcelain of which there are many examples with similar design published in the book "Chinese Blue & White Ceramics" By S.T. Yeo & Jean Martin. Condition: The Bowl has several chips on the rim which can be expected from an over 500 year old ceramic, but there are no cracks or repairs.
