Islamic ceramic bowl from Ilkhanid period time (13th–14th
century AD) and Iran-Sultanabad region. Details: rounded form on short spreading foot, the white engobe covering the body
is partially exposed to the contrast with the under glazed painted blue, black and dark purple, the interior is enhanced by
the panels radiating from the centre with wedge –shaped panels filled with floral motifs, the exterior is with vertical
lines. Condition: repaired clean breaks, small areas of restoration, beautiful age patina. Diameter: 7 ½ inches (19cm).Height:
3 ¾ inches (9 ½ cm). |
