Rare Islamic blue and white ceramic ewer featuring strong Chinese Ming Dynasty influences, Mughal India,
17th-18th century. Details: of globular body with domed cover and extended spout, painted under glaze in turquoise blue, brown
and cobalt blue with flowers and leafy sprays, the handle is marvelously executed in animal form. Condition: crack in the
spout (almost invisible), chip on the neck ring, repaired crack in the lid (knob) and some chips in the glaze. Height: 12
½ inches (31.8cm).
