INDO PERSIAN DAGGER JAMBIYA

Antique 18th century Persian dagger Jambiya from the Qajar Dynasty. The double-edged curved sturdy
steel blade with a thickened point designed for piercing chain mail is etched on both sides with figures in Persian costumes,
a lion, and a diamond shaped design. The solid steel hilt is decorated with lobed cartouches containing deer, rabbits, and
lions. It is in the original velvet covered wooden scabbard. The overall length is 14 ½ inches (37cm).
